4 out of 5 stars Good and reliable.   November 17, 2008
The mouse has worked well so far. The only negative I found is that it takes a little bit for the bluetooth to be recognized by the computer so, when you don't use the mouse for a few minutes, there is a noticeable delay when you move the mouse before the cursor actually starts moving.

1 out of 5 stars Recieved 2 differnt V470 and both diffective   November 11, 2008
After reading many of the reviews, I decided to purchase the Logitech V470 for my new Laptop. The mouse was delivered and I could not get the left button to function properly. After one hour on the phone with the Logitech help line, they told me to return it to Amazon for a replacement. I returned it and Amazon sent me a new V470. This mouse would take 20 minutes or more to connect. My computer would see the mouse but took too long to connect. After one week, if it connected, it would loose the connection and try to reinstall the software again and again. I called Logitect and they had no idea how to correct the problem. Their solution was to remove and reinstall the software which did not help. One of my friend loaned me his Microsoft 5000 bluetooth and it connected immediately. It was not my computer and not the software so I return it again to Amazon and placed an order for the Microsoft bluetooth 5000. It seems Logitech does not have any quality control in China. I would not buy this mouse.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful mouse!   November 10, 2008
This is an excellent mouse. Set up was fast & easy & there's no noticeable lag when using it. Battery life seems to be above average & the Logitech 3 year warranty makes this a good buy.

5 out of 5 stars A Good Buy   November 10, 2008
My mother bought the mighty mouse, and I feel like I got a much better deal. Although I am an out-and-out macophile, it's nice being able to right click, and the bluetooth technology is great. I've been using it on-and-off for nearly five months and it's still as white as when I got it. I use it primarily for at-home stuff because I don't have room in my bag to cache it safely, but it has nevertheless worked well the few times I have traveled with it.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent design, reliable, and nicely-sized B-tooth mouse!   November 8, 2008
I bought this mouse to replace an aging Kensington bluetooth mouse, and to do the duty of a far-lesser "pretender to the throne", an iGo Stowaway bluetooth mouse, and I couldn't be happier. This mouse has great feel, great contours that fit the hand well, and the best part: its bluetooth link is super-reliable, essentially never needing re-pairing with my computer. I have had other bluetooth products with far less reliable radio links, and that grows quite frustrating after a while.

This Logitech is very easy on batteries, but it still gives very precise, accurate pointer control (also frustrating when it's lacking, which is often the case with wireless mice) without being fussy about radio linking. This mouse is one of the few bluetooth ones that I would strongly recommend; wireless mice are tricky to do well, and bluetooth ones are even trickier, and they are newer to be widely accepted. Logitech has pretty much nailed it with this mouse.

Many other wireless mice (both bluetooth and the standard RF/USB types) lack a dedicated on/off switch on the bottom, but Logitech put one into this mouse, which is another feature I really like. Call me a dinosaur, but I like to turn it off when finished for the day and KNOW it's off, not just "hope it figured out to sleep" on its own! Further, because this mouse does not rely on deep-sleep to conserve batteries (it doesn't need to), it's much faster to reawaken after a long pause in the action. You will find that this subtle but important point really matters if you compare the operation of this mouse to the very "sleepy" ones out there.

If you spend lots of time on the computer as I do, you need a good wireless mouse -- Buy this one (if you're a bluetooth person) and you will not be disappointed!
