Best laptop I ever have.... January 8, 2009 I have the Acer Aspire One and I love it. It's small, compact and light weight. After I got this, I have never once used my big laptop again. Prefect for students who wants to take notes in class or browsing internet in the coffee shop. I also got a 9-cell 7800mAh battery for this laptop at Amazon.com. With the 9-Cell battery, my AA1 lasts about 7-10 hours on normal daily use. I use it at day and charge it at night, which it never ran out of power on me. I don't have to worry about battery life anymore.
Extremely portable, works well, great to carry to classes January 7, 2009 This labtop is very light, runs well and is perfect for students. I'm an engineering student -- my books are large & heavy, and trying to carry my full size laptop became a problem. Now, I just transfer my notes, etc when I get home. I love it. It came with the operating systems installed and works great!
Great little netbook! January 7, 2009 I love this netbook! I have a work laptop, as well as a home desktop and laptop...but this one is my new toy! It's great for travel, and I just loaned it to my brother-in-law who recently had surgery and can't sit at his desk for too long. What a great price for a nice little computer!
For What it's Worth January 7, 2009 You get what you pay for, not entirely fast, certainly not a big screen, or big enough keyboard, but it works, boots up fast, is super light, and it works!
I bought it as a second computer when I didnt want to start my main one, and am pleased. Do not try to use it for excel or multiple documents or windows open at the same time. WiFi is buggy at times, but works.
Overall I am happy as I knew the issues going into it, and it works just as advertised.
acer 8.9" mini-laptop January 7, 2009 Amazing freedom for people who travel alot with their laptop. Weighs nothing. Takes up zero space. Long battery capability. I gave my one year old HP laptop to my son-in-law after travelling 3 weeks for business with my new acer mini-laptop. It doesn't lack for anything! Highly recommended
