Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
In order to meet growing consumer demand for storing lots of pictures, movies, and music, a dependable high-speed and greater capacity memory card is indispensable. Transcend's SDHC cards use brand name NAND Flash chips and premium quality components to ensure robust, long-life durability and excellent performance. This combo package that includes a SDHC card together with a compact Card Reader S5 makes transferring data easier than ever. Just slide the SDHC card into S5 and plug it directly into any USB 2.0 (or 1.1) port and is capable of data transfer rates up to 480Mb/s. The reader works just like a standard USB flash drive, and supports the SDHC standard for hi-end large capacity memory cards. Transcend's SDHC + the world's thinnest SD / MMC Card Reader S5 is the perfect combination for your mobile lifestyle.

5 out of 5 stars Very useful little gadget for mini-computers   November 24, 2008
I got this little USB to accompany my ASUS Eee PC 901 It is the perfect accessory. With a little legwork you can achieve the same functionality as a DVD drive at a fraction of the space and cost. With this little gem I was able to change the OS on my EEE while waiting to get my tires rotated! I have not had any problems with this item and I would highly recommend it!

The only drawback is that it is so small- it is easy to misplace. Don't put any sensitive data on it! I leave mine at home and only take it out when I need it.

5 out of 5 stars Great Value   November 23, 2008
The Transcend card reader/8GB SDHC card combo is a great value at the price I paid. The card reader is a bit slow, but it's almost not worth consideration considering that the only time I would use it would be when no other card reader (such as a built-in or dedicated multicard reader) is available. The fastest card reader is the one you actually have...

I wish I could buy all my SDHC cards this way and I hope that this vlaue package stays around for a while.

Buy it.

4 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT FOR THE PRICE SDHC CARD   November 23, 2008
THE SDHC CARD WORKS VERY WELL FOR PICTURES & VIDEO IN MY KODAK EASYSHARE Z1285 CAMERA. GREAT PRICE TOO. THE CARD READER IS LESS THAN PERFECT. STILL I THINK THE CARD ALONE IS WORTH THE $15.

2 out of 5 stars Beware on older PCs   November 23, 2008
My only complaint is the Card reader is not always recognized on older PCs. On a new PC this works great

5 out of 5 stars Great Deal!   November 23, 2008
Wow! Purchased for my Canon camera so I would have plenty of room for video. No problems what so ever!
