5 out of 5 stars Damn Fine Memory!   December 30, 2008
It was shipped on time, took about 5 minutes to unbox and install, and when I started my notebook up; I immediately noticed a difference in performance. The startup time was drastically shortened.

An excellent buy for someone looking to improve system performance!

5 out of 5 stars works great   December 26, 2008
I installed this ram in my iMac 2.16 ghz to upgrade from 2 g ram to 3 g. The first time I installed it, the computer didn't recognize the ram. I took it out and put it back in, then pressed it into place. After that, it recognized it. The computer immediately ran faster. I was especially happy to see how well it handled a huge file that I'm editing several hours each day. It made this all-important file much more stable, and the work itself a lot more pleasant. It did exactly what you hope adding an extra gig of ram will do. I am glad I bought it.

The Crucial PC2 5300 667Mhz DDR2 RAM I bought for my HP Pavilion works like a charm. I installed it in about 5 minutes and it really boosted the performance of the laptop (replaced 256MB RAM).

I bought this 2GB of memory to replace the 1GB that came with my laptop running Vista. Having this extra memory has really improved the way the laptop runs (faster). I am very please with the results of this upgrade, and the memory was very inexpensive here at Amazon. Wish I had done this a year ago.
