It stopped charging the batteryNovember 20, 2008 Used it for about 3 months and it stopped charging the battery when plugged in. Saw other posting stating the same problem. Can't find any warranty info. I must agree with the others that you got what you paid for.
Worked for less than a month...November 13, 2008 While I read the others reviews I think I got a bad one. It worked well for about 3 weeks, regular use, actually I was being very carefull whit it, because looks kind of "delicate" and all of a sudden it stopped working. For the price, I guess I got what I paid for, but I was hoping that it'd last a little bit more. Not really recomended...

Can't Be Used With My LaptopOctober 5, 2008 I have an Inspiron 8600 that is 4 years old. The description says this adapter will work with it. However, my laptop gave me a message, as soon as it was plugged in that it was incompatible with my machine and with Dell batteries and would not charge the battery. Sure enough, it holds a charge, but does not recharge the battery.
As another reviewer said, the cord is too short and it's cheap in construction. But since it was so inexpensive, it's just a frustration. Buyer beware, though. It may not work with your machine.
Great AC adaptorSeptember 27, 2008 I was definitely suspicious of this thing, and now I am genuinely surprised. This is WAY better than the Dell adaptor. It does NOT get hot and works great, doesn't keep falling out like the initial one did. Great purchase from Amazon. Do yourself a favor and save $40 bucks plus tax and buy this thing from Amazon instead of the piece of junk Dell will try to sell you. Don't even get me started on Dell's Lithium ion batteries for their laptops.
