Pretty good item, great for priceJanuary 8, 2009 This is a pretty nice item for the price. Under $100 for 8gig. The menu is easy to use and uploading music is a breeze. The album, artist lists are a little annoying. You have to name the music just right to get them together in albums or by artist and sometimes my music still shows under "Unknown". The device crashes my winamp when it is connected to my computer.
But considering, it is still a good unit. The quirks aren't enough to think of replacement.

great mp3 playerJanuary 8, 2009 I like this mp3 player, also like the fact that you can upgrade the memory when you feel like it, can't do that with the ipod. The only drawback I see with this player compared to the ipod is the video playback. But not really a big issue at least it plays videos. Plus has more features to. Overall great, just make sure to pick up a protective case when buying any mp3 player.

First time MP3 player user/buyerJanuary 7, 2009 I have never bought/operated an MP3 player before so I can't offer any comments on comparing it to any other MP3 players. But as someone who is new to MP3 ownership what I can say is that it is very easy to operate. Within 30 mintues I had everything registered with Rhapsody's To Go subscription and was able to listen to music on the player. It is very user friendly, very budget friendly, and very attractive as well. I researched a lot of players before purchasing one and I came very close to buying an IPod Nano. I am not disappointed with my decision to buy the Sansa Fuze instead. In fact, so far the only thing I don't like about it is that it does not come with an adapter to charge the player with outside of hooking it to the computer. All in all though I am sold and I am planning to buy a second one for myself (this one being for my husband).
