The Samsonite Worldproof 3.02 bag is an excellent camera bag. I had a major problem with it that requires me to return and "upsize".
Another reviewer said his Nikon D70 fit fine on it's side and that cinched it for me. Well, when I slide my D70s kit (18-70 lens) in on it's side, it is just too tight to suit my needs. In my experience, forcing things is not wise so I'll happily return this and hope this review helps another in their decision.

Recently bought the Worldproof 3.02 for a trip to Costa Rica. It fits my camcorder, all the cables and chargers, two mini-dv tapes, the instruction manual AND there was room for our mini digital camera and extra AA batteries too! I carried it easily on the plane using just the "regular" handle, but could easily open out the shoulder strap for hands free. We went everywhere with it (lots of sandy beaches, sailboat, snorkeling, etc.). Very stable when you set it down - doesn't slide around in a boat or a vehicle (important on Costa Rican roads!) Great bag!

I purchased this camera bag for a larger digital camera. While there is plenty of room for my camera and all of its accessories, the bag is not overly large or awkward. The bag is sturdy and its compartments are laid-out logically.
