Fantastic End to One of the Best Shows of All TimeJuly 10, 2010 Daniel Terrebone Monk is one of the best television shows ever, not just one of the best detective shows. Tony Shalhoub is amazing, as is every member of the supporting cast. I'm very sad to see the show end, but I'm happy that the quality of show never dropped. Season 8 is as good as Season 1. Sharona appears in this season, and her return was a nice surprise.

This was a great end to the season. I am often times left feeling let down by the final episodes of alot of series, but not this one. If you are a fan of the show, you should definately own season eight.
A short final season with a poignant endJune 27, 2010 Viva(So. Cal.) This is a short but mostly good ending for a great series, with Monk finally finding out what was in the present from Trudy that he had never opened before. It opens up a Pandora's box of unhappiness for a while, but in the end, things turn out very nicely for our man Adrian. New horizons also open up for the captain and Randy. I also found Traylor Howard somewhat more likeable this season than in seasons past.
