AWESOME Nitnendo DS Lite Charger!August 31, 2008 I was skeptical at first with the price, but this little guy works great! Really, it is all you need! I use this as my primary charger for my DS Lite! Take note: Will NOT work with the old, large Nitnendo DS. Only works with the newer, smaller Nintendo DS Lite. (They have completely different charger connectors).
This price really can not be beat! I send for a few of them, and take one with me whenever I travel!

We have a DS Lite that we bought in the US, and since moving overseas, we've needed to use a voltage adaptor every time we want to charge it. Even the small wattage voltage adaptors are quite heavy, so while this works fine for us at home, it makes it very difficult to take the DS Lite with us when we travel. This charger is a lifesaver, since we no longer have to pack a heavy voltage adaptor.
Like the original charger, the plug folds down to make it more portable, but the US-style plug does mean that a plug adaptor is still required for most overseas use. Thankfully plug adaptors are usually quite lightweight. Also, the cord is a bit shorter than the original charger, which may be good for traveling but makes it a little harder to play when the power is low, since you need to sit closer to an outlet.
Overall, it's a handy thing to have if you ever take your DS Lite overseas, and the price is fantastic!
(Note that this charger is indeed designed for the Nintendo DS Lite, and NOT the original Nintendo DS, which uses a different connection.)

For $1 plus $3 shipping you get a DS Lite charger that works automatically and flawlessly between 100 and 240 volts. This is great for international travelers. It looks and feels just like the charger included in the DS Lite package, but that one only works at 120 volt. Nintendo should have included this multi-voltage one instead! This is one inexpensive and excellent product.

This works with the DS Lite. Great price ($1 plus shipping). This dual voltage charger is perfect for my travel schedule. The OEM charger should have been dual voltage. This is a cheap fix, for world travelers.
