Good Radio for the priceAugust 7, 2008 This Sony Radio works well. Pick up radio signals well. The batteries last long but I purchased a AC adapter so I can plug in. I use it at work to mostly listen to AM Radio and once in a while FM. Works well for what I use it for. I would purchase again.
JUST RIGHTJuly 6, 2008 I got this radio as a gift and was surprised by how much it cost but it's worth it. It works as well as the CC Radio with about 1/3 the weight. Works great on weak AM signals, especially with the CC AM antenna.
good AM radio but no light!? duh...June 29, 2008 The biggest feature I use is the sleep timer, AM radio puts me to sleep, what can I say. But the no light thing is really dumb, why would they leave that out? yeesh... If I didn't have a pair of night vision goggles I wear to bed, I would be lost. I also like to feature that blocks out Bush's voice and inserts easy listening jazz. I'm not a jazz fan but I'm starting to be.
where can I find another radio like thisJune 6, 2008 I probably went through 30 AA cells before I bought rechargables for this radio. I lost it on a camping trip and am looking for something that compares. It was my favorite radio I bought it for $30-$40 and see now that you can only get it for 179$!$! as a refurb?
Will the TV portion of this work after the digital conversion?May 14, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Will I still be able to receive the TV signals after 2/2009 when analog goes away? Or will I need a converter of some sort?
