Vinyl to digital worksMay 6, 2010 James M. Book Got this to convert my vinyl to digital. Works well, not too many problems. After converting over 100 albums so far no real complaints. Track time listings that get pulled in off the net are generally off from time printed on records in most instances. Most titles are found, but not all. Overall, if your turntable has a preamp, and your computer has a USB port and a cd player, drop the software in, plug and play.
Works Great!March 15, 2010 K. L. Shupp(PA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The ADS Tech InstantMusic device works great! I wanted to convert my cassette tapes into cd's. At first, I thought I had a problem because none of my boomboxes that played cassettes had earphone jacks. Fortunately, we found my husband's little cassette recorder. You just plug the cords from the device into the earphone jack. You plug the device into your computer with a usb cord which is provided. The device comes with software that installs on your computer and then takes you step by step through the process. I think it was well worth the approximately $40 that I spent. My cd's have turned out great - no sound quality issues at all.
Nice productDecember 5, 2009 Michael Justus(NE) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Took me a little bit to figure out how to use it with the Garage Band App (the directions for MAC aren't great), but once I got it it's pretty slick. What a great way to reconnect with all my old cassette music. I would recommend it.
To my satisfactionDecember 2, 2009 Marvin A. Trzcinski(23323) The product performs flawlesly.
Amazon handled a lost shipping situation just perfectly to my delight.
LP to CDJuly 29, 2009 Bette A. Maron(Napa, CA) This device did the job. However, I actually had to buy a turntable and new amplifier to use with it. I think there are products out there that do it all in one package and which would be that much easier to use. It would've been a shame to loose all the music that I had collected over decades, so I am glad that I did convert the albums which I did. However, because the process required that I get out all the pieces of equipment that I mentioned above, along with my laptop, it isn't a job that I eagerly do as much as I should.
