Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A new idea ! A new playing method! No need HD TV!   May 13, 2008

People say how XboX 360 is great, how Blu Ray technology of PS3 is awesome and so on. To play these, you first need to pay for them and then get HD TV for complete show. These consoles are literally sequels of PS2 and XboX, which means classic button+joystick controler and that's it: just like PS2 had better graphics than PS one, XboX 360 and PS3 have better graphics and animation than their older brothers.

Nintendo Wii is small, cheap and doesn't have that HD TV imperative. Graphics are little better than PS2. So, why I gave it five stars? Controls are great: as you move them through air, detector gets your motion and game reacts. If you play bowling, you do a movement in the air as you do when you throw ball. If you play boxing , you have to swing as if you were in ring. Shooters are also great here, because you point to screen and move your hand and crosshairs/cursor moves with it. Wii way of playing shooter is almost, if not as, comfortable as playing PC mouse-based shooter.

Wii is not Console, it is complete little arcade parlor in your house.
