Product Description The New York Times is dedicated to providing news coverage of exceptional depth and breadth, as well as opinion that is thoughtful and stimulating. Widely quoted, and often hotly debated, The New York Times is held by its readers to the highest of standards and continues to be regarded by many as the nation's pre-eminent newspaper. The New York Times has earned an unprecedented 94 Pulitzer Prizes, far more than any other newspaper. A global news staff covers a wide range of interests: from world, national and New York issues to business, culture, science, religion, travel, style, food, sports, health and home. In addition to outside contributors, the editorials page features The New York Times' own team of award-winning columnists: David Brooks, Maureen Dowd, Thomas L. Friedman, Bob Herbert, Nicholas D. Kristof, Paul Krugman, Frank Rich and John Tierney.
The Kindle Edition of The New York Times contains articles found in the print edition, but will not include some images and tables. Also, some features such as the crossword puzzle, box scores and classifieds are not currently available. Where's the Rest of it?August 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Generally pleased with my subscription but VERY annoyed that, in contrast to the description that it will include NYT articles sans graphs, charts and crossword--what you're not told and I tried very hard to find out before ordering--is that several articles are omitted from each edition and sometimes the articles that are included abruptly end, chopping off the final few sentences or paragraph. Yesterday's Sunday edition (Aug 24) only had 3 articles from the Book Review--a fraction of that section. This flaw needs work fixing or NYT need to state the subscription contents clearly.

Simply amazing!!!July 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I will start out by clearly stating that I do not have a suscription to this paper on the Kindle. That however is not all that important a detail becuase the only thing that would allow me to comment on is the frequency of delivery issues. What I do is purchase the sunday edition for 75 cents. I download it wirelessly within 20 seconds of clicking buy. That is an amazing feat when you consider how massive the Sunday edition of any newspaper including the New York Times can be. The level of detail that is present in the Kindle edition is downright cool. There are usually pictures spread throughout attached to some of the most pressing stories. The way that they arrange it is through a folder system (now if they could only let us do the same for our normal books)making it a breeze to navigate through. The slant is decidely liberal but that isn't something that is a necessary detail when reviewing a Kindle edition of a paper. Do not hesitate to purchase on occasion or subscribe to; although I feel that the subscription price is a bit high.
