5 out of 5 stars Cross your fingers when purchasing   August 28, 2008
I feel lucky that I got one with no defects because like many people I've had miserable experiences with the build quality of Apple hardware. I guess a keyboard is kind of hard to screw up, though reading the other reviews it appears Apple has found a way. I'm also amazed that you can get this thing for under three hundred, knowing Apple.

That said, I am glad I bought this keyboard. I'm actually going to get another for work. It's really easy to type on it and my hands don't hurt after working on it all day like they did with the old PC keyboard I was previously using.

Would I recommend it? Yes, but as always with Apple products, be prepared to return it several times until you get a good one.

5 out of 5 stars cute and functional   August 28, 2008
Like all things Apple, this keyboard has all the functions you want and looks great. Style and function. When will the rest of the world catch on?

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic!   August 25, 2008
After these new keyboards were released, I was eager to replace the keyboard that came with my original Intel iMac. Part of the reason for this was due to the fact that my wrists have begun hurting recently. I've tried everything from wrist rests to wrist braces, and, while they did help, I still had pain.

I had a feeling that buying one of these, and not having to elevate my hands as much would make a big different. I wasn't disappointed.

Not only did it help my wrists, but I love how nice it is. The keys are very easy to press, I love the extra buttons that it offers for extra control/functionality in OS X. Just a wonderful addition to my iMac and Leopard.

This keyboard is worthy of Apple. Its really a change for the better.

5 out of 5 stars Great Keyboard   August 24, 2008
My sister had one of these & I used it while visiting. It is a great smooth feeling keyboard. Easy to use & looks great with my Macbook Pro.

2 out of 5 stars My First Experience with Apple   August 21, 2008
Pros: stylish - the Keyboard definitely makes a fashion statement, USB ports

Cons: keys and especially, the space bar, often don't register. Flat keys with very little movement. Touch typing speed is greatly reduced. Recessed USB ports are awkward to use.

This keyboard would suffice for internet surfing or very light data entry. Typing a term paper would be out of the question. My company supplied the computer and keyboard otherwise I would have returned it.
