It is super hot and could set up fireSeptember 2, 2010 Jim from MA I just got this today. I read the review before I ordered this thing. I ignored bad reviews and thought what could a charger do to damage battery or PC? Now I am convienced that both are possible. In less than few minutes after plugged in, this thing gets so hot that I could not hold it with my hand too long. I don't mean to burn, but make you feel unconfortable enough.
What I am going to do is to return it back to the seller and suggest Amazon to move this thing off the list.
BTW, I never returned any item bought from Amazon........

Cheap and good (same quality as the original one)August 31, 2010 rmezei Except for the fact that this product is much shorter than the original one, there is no other difference. Both, the original one and this product get very hot when the computer has many proceses running. But the price is very good. Therefore, I would recommend this product.

short term solutionAugust 20, 2010 tecteach this power cord worked great for two days and then quit. If you only need a cord for a day or two then this is a good deal, if you are looking for a long term solution...keep looking.
