beware of counterfeit memory cardsAugust 18, 2010 Decolliber(USA) To the people who have posted that the card does not work or has damaged their computer: you probably bought a fake. Counterfeit memory devices will usually reveal themselves fairly quickly: you will have trouble formatting and file transfer will break down, and your computer will be unable to read the device.
The only safe way to buy memory is from a well established vendor (like Amazon) or direct from manufacturer. I have found that out the hard way. The seller here, importer520, buys directly from China, not from US distributors, so draw your own conclusions. If you buy anything like this from an Amazon external vendor's storefront, you are taking a big risk.
Rule of thumb for memory devices: if it is unusually cheap, assume it is fake.

I picked up several of the Kingston 2 GB microSD Flash Memory Cards for use with several different electronics. My Netbook, Digital Camera, Wii, Camcorder, Cell Phone and the list goes on.
I have been using them for over 3 months now and haven't had any issues. The micro card has worked great in my phone for holding music and extra photos and the transfer rate of my files has been fine. With 2GB it holds plenty and the price was reasonable too. The only problem I have had is keeping track of them all.

We purchase this product for two reasons, no three reasons. The first was the positive reviews we read for this product, the second was the price, and thirdly it was less expensive with shipping and handling than I could purchase locally. We were not disappointed when the memory card arrrived. I would recommend the productly highly.
