CHEAP FLIMSY CRAPSeptember 6, 2010 Tim Fling I bought this because it was cheap and seemed to be a good idea. It wasn't. I have a program on my computer to monitor the heat, this lowered it so minimally, sitting it on plastic does the same thing. The fans also do not have a closed bottom so you can't even sit it on your lap. WASTE OF MONEY, DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME
Piece of JUNKSeptember 4, 2010 Miles When I recieve the item it was ALLREADY BROKEN. Two of the screw posts that secure the fans were rattling around in the box. The loos usb cable bounced around a lot and scratched up the surface of the Cooler pad. Not only that, this product deceptivly recieved many 5 star ratings. If I could I would give it ZERO stars. While the fans are quiet and put out a nice brteeze for cooling, the stand its self is SO FLIMSY that it cannot even handle the weight of a laptop!

it's really flimsy, and kinda cool. the lights are kinda o.k., but it was noisy. I have a Dell 15.5 Studio and it just didn't keep it cooled down. Play it safe, spend a couple more bucks and make sure your getting enough cooling, cause that's what it's really all about.

It keeps my laptop from overheating, the blue lights are pretty nice but its a tad flimsy.

After upgrading my PS3's hard drive with 500gb and 7200 rpm i was concern about overheating a bit. I wanted a cheap solution so this was the perfect choice. This product is cheaply made no question but it does the job, with that price you can't ask for more. It's perfect for the ps3 but for a laptop you have to know that this cooler has to be in a hard surface no alternative. Other than that it's very quiet and the blue lights it's a bonus. In conclusion for a PS3 this is a great cheap cooling solution.
