M stands for "mini"January 10, 2009 This shoe was on sale, so I bought a pair in my size: 9 M. When I got these shoes, I couldn't believe how small they were! I think the M stands for miniature, not medium! I could get my foot in if all the material is kind of stretched, but I don't think that is how the shoes were meant to be worn, especially if someone is going to be doing some serious sports. I gave these shoes to my daughter who has slightly smaller feet, and she is very happy with them. The shoes are a pretty color, too.
