martyrFebruary 21, 2010 martyr(williamsburg, va usa) It was great. Roads that I would not come up previously, now come up when I enter the address. Keeping the maps updated ensures new roads are available, and the CD was so easy to use. I highly recommend it.
Where are we going now??February 12, 2010 I have a Garmin 620 GPS and sometimes I use it just to see if it shows me where I want to go even though I know how to get there. I was once led to absolutely nowhere while trying to get to my local auto registration office in central FL. Another time, I was traveling to a hospital that I had in sight, but it decided to take me on a wild goose chase just before I got there. Lucky, it was not an emergency. Needless to say, it did the same thing when we left.
It's MAJOR software fault is that the device does NOT allow a choice for shortest route and insists on using the major streets and highways.
It doesn't always get you there.
It's too damn expensive!!!!!

I ordered the 2009 version, cancelled it, then received the 2010 version in 2 days.
2010 version was WRONG and I still have to return 2009,,,,,AMAZON's ordering is constantly WRONG!
Garmin dropped the ball on this oneFebruary 5, 2010 J.Groneck(USA) I wish I had read more of the reviews and forums beforehand. This has been a time consuming process due to the limited information they provide up front and lengthy customer service wait times. Tried Garmin's online help and email help, but they continue to provide the same steps after explaining in detail it has not resolved the issue "NO DETAILED MAPS FOUND THAT SUPPORT ROUTING"
DisappointedFebruary 2, 2010 Jeffrey L. Kravat(madison, wi) I have downloaded the Garmin update into my unit and find that there has not been any update at all. The unit still insists that I need to update it and I do not know what to do.
Please contact me if at all possible with either a new unit or a suggestion as to how to make this work.
